What a miserable experience from @MTGSecretLair. Limited it to 1 per person and it still sold out in 34 minutes. Also the fact that it sold out when my turn in line was less than one minutes is extremely infuriating. Do better @wizards_magic

@Schillerverse Anyone who tried to buy it when they tweeted that was already too late. I "got in line early" and my queue time was still 1.5 hours long. Knowing now that "Mood Swings" is a game that nobody will actually be able to play, I won't bother trying

This MTG Secret Lair drop today has gotten all the attention. Apparently the drop sold out in 30 minutes with a limit of 1 per. Many new buyers left dissatisfied with the experience. Here are some responses. Do you agree with all these reactions? Did you get the drop?

@BambooEarpick the moment I saw it was announced I check on amazon and it was there to preorder. same thing once I heard we were getting mini spoilers for the hobbit and reality fracture. Special bundles weren't so hard to get a few years ago but these days, you can't hesitate.

@Beef_Mage Tidus just feels very strong out of the box. Any creature becomes a threat, plus it comes with an infinite combo. I feel like Y'shtola's deck is just a tad slow, and is weak to decks with a heavy combat presence. But her potential in a Constructed deck is much much higher

So, in summary: - Sony’s $765 million in impairment losses for Bungie means they are downwardly adjusting the value of an asset that I think everyone but Sony realized was probably not worth $3.6 billion. This is not “lost money” in the sense some are thinking of - This wouldn’t be happening if Bungie games were doing great and printing loads of cash. Clearly they are not - Sony is at least publicly backing Marathon per its comments on the call, so the result of all this is not some imminent game/studio shutdown - Sony says it does not expect more big Bungie impairment losses in FY26 - All this is to say there are no guarantees this doesn’t produce something like layoffs and reduced overall investment in games like Marathon, Destiny and future projects. None of this is good news outside of claims of future Marathon plans to try to turn things around. Emphasis on try - I remain very concerned about Destiny

@nestapendragon It's best to keep it with your creatures instead of your lands. It can easily be mistaken for a forest at a glance, and that avoids any confusion

Is it morally okay to leave this down with your lands in EDH? I used to have this in my Dina deck, I thought it was a fun Easter egg! And I thought people knew all about it. Instead it caused a lot of confusion. Do people still have strong MTG feelings about this card?

If you're a commander only then you're the rookie in question to be clear but also this is just objectively true in commander too and if you believe otherwise ur even more egregious
