These new yellow caulk guns from @Intaglio_Print are making me disproportionately happy! Our Cranfield/ caligo relief inks are now in cartridges, I bet it won't stay looking this tidy for long 😂 @UniLincolnArts

Deep cleaned the two small vacuum print beds this afternoon... and somehow managed to keep my nail polish in tact! Well, I did wear two pairs of gloves 😂 A year's worth of ink and masking tape banished (from the print bed not the nails!) - they almost look like new 😇

A busy morning demonstrating screen printing to the Sleaford Embroiderers... They rolled up their sleeves to print this 2 colour design in a range of lovely bright tones! @UniLincolnArts

Circus tent progress update... Prints coming out sharper since we've borrowed a steamer (to prep before printing) from the lovely fashion technicians. Looking forward to seeing it finished on Monday...

Jess from @Lincoln_GD level 3 has embarked on an ambitious screen printing project... She's printing typography on this @IKEAUK kid's tent for her @dandad submission. It's a tricky shape and a slippery fabric to work with! @UniLincolnArts

Irene from illustration L2 has been experimenting with candy colour gradients... Lots of test prints to encourage the colours to blend, then final versions screen printed on black. Looking forward to seeing her illustrations once she's worked into them... @UniLincolnArts

@meganmakesillos @UniLincolnArts Depends on the size of the year; we have a third of the year at a time (16-20 students?) It's a taught project so I support a tutor who delivers it. As it's a fairly big group, half do relief printing and half do intaglio - then swap the next week - during the process intros.

@meganmakesillos @UniLincolnArts Sorry for late reply, final rush before the Christmas holidays! Nice to speak to a fellow print tech [foolishly looks for squeegee/apron emoji]. We also work with small groups for acid etching, as it is process led/heavy. Level 1 illustration has rotations, one being printmaking.
