It has come to my attention that I need to publicly state that the opinions on here are my own, and I am not speaking on behalf of PLHS Admin, ISD 719 Admin or the School Board. So, if you weren't sure. There you go. I hope this clears up any non-existent confusion.

@PriorLakeAPWH I agree with most of that tbh. If it's a bot get rid of it no matter what it's saying. I guess a better way to uphold the first amendment would be to not suppress or enhance the racism etc. but not delete it. Have a neutral effect on it.

This app has turned into a cesspool of neo-nazi, racist and bot accounts and it is not improving. I can’t in good conscience continue to participate in this experiment, so I will be deleting. I would like to thank everyone who has followed and engaged over the years. ✌️

@StraneT This is a private, for-profit firm. I am not sure the first amendment could limit what they promote via their algo. They definitely have the right to push any ideology they want. But bots are not people.. they don’t have constitutional rights. So I am fine with silencing them

@PriorLakeAPWH Good to hear from you as well! To be fair, I mostly use follow and not the for you page so I wouldn't see some of that anyway. I think the intention was to allow the algorithm to suppress that speech and not remove it, matching the first amendment, which only restricts threats.

@StraneT Gavin, good to hear from you! Glad you are doing well. Definitely not talking about right of center content, I see that out on my own. Glad you haven’t seen the trash I have lately in here.

@PriorLakeAPWH But hey, if there is not enough content from each party on the platform and you want a better mix of both I understand. It would be great to see a more mixed set of perspectives on here. I try to follow some I disagree with to see both sides myself.

@MackenzieKlima She was a bulldog when it came to high expectations in education and had NO time for incompetence. I absolutely loved it. Her legacy lives here at @isd719 though the programming she helped create. This is a beautiful tribute to her.

Fascinating. Until I went to an AP reading and and used earplugs, I didn’t know this. It was a game changer for me, who has always had a bit of ADD.. so it turns out that listening to Lil Baby on your AirPod while a lecture is going on isn’t helping you learn. I am shocked 😐
