Was on @OpinionLine96 this morning saying that more maintenance needed in the city. This afternoon I learned maintenance is being done in MacCurtain Street - but @PrioryCoffeeCo are doing it themselves. Credit to them for that work, but they shouldn't have to.

The Priory cafe in Youghal @PrioryCoffeeCo really does occupy a 14th century priory, with a gothic front door and this lancet window on the first floor as stubborn survivors. Excellent coffee and, yes, Eggs Benedict is on the menu.

Happy Saturday everyone! What a lovely sunny morning & well done to all those who took part in the #darknessintolight2022 event! Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances our Priory on North Main St, Cork will not open today. All other Priory locations are open as normal!
