Apache County is bringing vital records to Ganado and Chinle in 2026, so families won’t have to drive hours to St. Johns for birth or death certificates needed for school, benefits, IDs and estate paperwork.

St. Johns residents get a narrow chance to grill SRP on Coronado’s coal-to-gas conversion: will it protect reliability, cut pollution, or just shift costs onto local jobs, water and future bills? The plant is set to switch by late 2029.
