@Anusien @drewlevin @SaNkKe_ In my case it was someone targeting my account with the intention of getting it banned. Honestly shocked this isn’t more commonly used to target streamers, pros, YouTubers, etc.

@drewlevin @SaNkKe_ Same thing happened to me, unfortunately without a decline gift button there really isn’t many ways to protect ourselves from people fraudulently sending gifts and no way to prove you either didnt ask for it or purchase it yourself.

@SaNkKe_ hey man, you got banned for gifting fraud. from doing a bit of research, it seems quite likely that you knew what you were doing.

@Voxtrik @tentisback Sure absolutely heard on “something physical I can hold and own”. But like….there are a lot of things you can physically own and hold. So I’m curious what the human need is at the point where people really want that thing.

hello @drewlevin ive been playing this game for 13 years + its still a chill game and i see u guys want to tackle smurfing very nice, i agree, main account policy and playing for elo on 1 account is desirable but can we please add actual ranked rewards? (chall jacket etc)

@drewlevin I know it was an oversight, but it was absolutely hilarious when you gave Ludwig a Riot account with Masters MMR.

@d3zziiii to the extent that we provide accounts to creators, our policy today is to match that account’s MMR to their main account MMR.

@drewlevin if you wanna stop people from buying accounts make it easier to queue ranked on a fresh account, lot of people don’t wanna play 100+ games to have a Smurf when you can work 10 minutes at a low paying part time job and have enough for 10 smurfs on an account site

@drewlevin While I understand the ban will stand, I would ask that Riot at least consider adding a way to decline gifts to prevent issues like this in the future. I’m honestly shocked people don’t target streamers/pros with this kind of attack. There is literally no way to prevent it…

@drewlevin Thank you very much for the update, while I’m disappointed with the result I appreciate the time and effort. I felt my description was fair and accurate, someone gifted me stuff without my consent, issued a charge back, my account got banned for fraud. I even offered to pay.

@drewlevin Accounts can send gifts without actually having their friend requests accepted, just a pending invite for over 24 hours, they can then send you gifts without anyway of declining them. They can then issue a charge back resulting in both accounts being permanently banned

@Snedgie @FcpnchStds EAC has their own ban appeal application, it sounds like the ban was issued by EAC not Face punch. Ban appeals are extremely rare, but if you think you can prove your case look up Appeal an Easy Anti-Cheat decision.

I woke up to my Steam account of 13 years recieving a permaban on Rust, because it was hijacked overnight. 😃 I reached out to @FcpnchStds and the ban is permanent even if I wasn't involved. 2FA, passkeys & unique passwords, and didn't recieve warning of hijacking Epic! 👍

@drewlevin Thank you, it means a lot. I understand that I didn't handle the issue the best on my end. I did not contact support upon receiving suspicious gifts, I was caught up in the short term "woohoo free stuff" mindset. Regardless of the result, I really do appreciate it!

@drewlevin Some context, I've opened a ticket on this before, but was met with a zero tolerance message and that there is nothing support can/will do. I believe this was done by an angry enemy top lanner from a game a long ago.

@C9StijnDeV @TravisGafford @discord Ctrl 1-9 will open a different server and fix the UI, it’s an annoying work around but better than resetting the entire app.

@TravisGafford @discord Yeah i have almost the exact same problem 😅 Everytime i tab out, the app just goes grey and i have to restart it

Anyone else feel like @discord is super unreliable lately? The mobile app bugs out every time I open it and I have to spend a second tapping around in it before I can properly send a message. Now on desktop, the whole UI just refuses to load. I've been using web app for days.
