@BasedPota18 People always complain about Dooku not exposing Palpatine but forget about Vader.
Palpatine told Luke to kill Vader.
And Vader still went back to Palpatine's side like a dog and watched his son being fried alive.
Sure he saved Luke in the end, but it took him long enough.

I’d argue an alternate perspective, they’re very much aware that the Jedi way of life is a difficult one, and would be even harder for someone not raised from infancy as one
So they didn’t think putting it on this kid would be a good idea

@MaceAhWindu It's beautiful that dooku gives obiwan the truth albeit vague. He needs to know obiwan believes him before he reveals it's literally palpatine but if he can get him to even imagine it being possible that's how he knows obiwan isn't just another blind follower of the jedi

I honestly love this.
Jedi were always 5 steps behind Palpatine, so out of the loop that even when they’re given every piece to the puzzle they can’t put it all together before it’s too late
I mean Dooku basically tells Obi Wan that the Republic is compromised

This scene from The Clone Wars where the Jedi Council discovers Dooku was behind the creation of their Clone Army, and subsequently choosing to hide that discovery from everyone, is incredibly pivotal to their eventual downfall. Palpatine’s plan was so complex that even with the Jedi Council having this knowledge, he would still win, all while further pushing Anakin towards the Dark Side.
