@deanpillled for similar reasons i love when the supernatural thing/s they're hunting turn out to be just crazed lunatic humans, it really grounds their skill in something a lot more tangible

I always love the spn episodes where actual law enforcement is on sam and dean’s case because you really see how SKILLFUL and SCARY those boys are with literal trained soldiers. Their fights with supernatural beings are so much more balanced you almost forget how good they are
