Next week starts #KinshipCareWeek, so a reminder that family and friends who step in to care for children when their parents can’t, get no right to paid leave from work to settle the child into their new life🤯This needs to change! #ValueOurLove @kinshipcharity

I was so lucky my employer matched their adoption leave provision. I took a year off work to focus on settling my baby nephew into his new home. Most kinship carers are not so lucky and it shouldn't be this way: itv.com/news/central/2… @kinshipcharity #valueourlove

Seeing new analysis from Bright Spots @CoramVoice @selwyn_j @ReesCentre @EuSARF2023 . Children in care liked school more than their peers overall BUT not all - Not having friends associated with disliking school. Higher reports of bullying in school than the general pop.
