That’s how “professional” Airtel operates.
I had an issue with my WiFi and registered a complaint through the app yesterday. They scheduled the visit for today, but the assigned technician didn’t even bother picking up calls. Then, without any resolution, the request was automatically rescheduled to tomorrow.
I spoke to customer support multiple times and every single time they assured me it had been marked as “priority” and would be resolved by 5 PM.
It’s already past 6 PM and there’s still no sign of any technician.
Absolutely pathetic service and zero accountability. Worst experience.

Airtel’s PRIORITY postpaid 5G is being examined by TRAI:
• They launched a premium postpaid feature using 5G network slicing, a technology that reserves a dedicated part of the network for certain users. This is meant to give postpaid customers more stable speeds and connectivity during congestion.
• Govt is checking if this violates net neutrality principles
• Could create “internet fast lanes” for people who pay more
• Raises concern that prepaid users may get lower priority in crowded areas
• India still has no clear regulations for network slicing
Airtel says it improves efficiency and doesn’t hurt other users.

Smart positioning. Airtel is trying to nudge people to postpaid, Vi is trying to pull Airtel customers to itself. Competition is good for consumers.
As a customer of both telcos in Delhi, both have good connectivity. End up using Vi for data, Airtel for calls/msg (old number)
