I've been quietly building a Bible reading tracker — it's called Chapter by Chapter. Free, simple, works in your browser, no account needed. If you're trying to read more of the Bible and want something to mark your progress, this might help. Find it at bible-trackz.pages.dev

@KevinRossen Hi - just circling back to this. Do those api's let people use them at scale? While we don't have a tonne of traffic at the moment I worry about things taking off and then having promised something beyond what I can provide.

@problogger I thought it would be useful to have a few options for reading the Bible directly in the app, so I spun up a quick prototype using a few free Bible APIs. I'm setting up a repo that I'll share with you so you can see the backend. guiltfree.processpigeon.com

@MadKittyMedia I think we should be cautious with AI but like anything I think it can be used well and badly. Discernment, prayer etc is essential when using it.

@problogger Do you believe that the Holy Spirit can reveal things to people in this day and age? I have had four dreams now in which I saw into the spiritual reality behind AI, and let me tell you, it is demonic. I understand if you are skeptical, but please take it to the Lord.

One of the most useful things I've added to my preaching rhythm lately: debriefing my sermons with the help of AI. Not in preparation. After. While it's still fresh. Here's why I think every preacher should be doing this. 🧵

The debate about AI in sermon preparation is worth having. But this is something different. It's using a tool to learn from what you've already done, in your own voice, from your own experience in the room. Preach. Then give it twenty minutes.
