This is honestly true for anyone that makes their living playing #DnD. I’m fortunate enough not to have received any directly but I have definitely seen Some Takes pretty ignorant of the fact I can’t uproot my life and career on some corporation’s whim.

This is...very, very yikes. At the same time, though, I'm not certain I understand all the shock and outrage. WotC is a corp, it's always been a corp, a corp cares about a single thing – profit. Corporations are not people and they are DEFINITELY not friends.
