🎉What a moment! One month ago, we broke ground on our future gigafactory in Dunkirk, France. This symbolic gesture marked a historic step in our global expansion and demonstrated our long-term commitment to Europe’s energy future. ​ Before the event began, ProLogium’s founder and CEO, Vincent Yang was specially invited by French President Emmanuel Macron to witness the announcement of a new production line at a low-carbon steel plant also investing in Dunkirk. President Macron mentioned on the occasion that ProLogium is likewise an important player in the low-carbon industry, and expressed his anticipation that our development would serve as a driving force in advancing France’s low-carbon sector. The official ceremony reflected far more than the start of construction for us. It embodied a shared ambition between Taiwan and France to accelerate next-generation solid-state battery innovation, strengthen industrial sovereignty, and advance decarbonization goals. ​ 🤝 Our event brought together national and local authorities, partners, guests and stakeholders to witness this historic moment together. Following the groundbreaking ceremony held on 10 February, we’re pleased to confirm the selection of the consortium formed by Sogea Caroni, Exyte and Lucas & Gaillard Architectes to build our Dunkirk gigafactory. ​ 🤝This project is more than an industrial milestone. It is a collective effort rooted in the region — bringing together strong local expertise, trusted construction partners, and the support of regional authorities. ​ 🏗️ Construction of the first manufacturing plant will begin in 2026.
