🏆 BLACK BALL WIN FOR DENG IN SENIORS FINAL! Congratulations to our new World Women's Seniors Champion Deng Xin Shun of China - who claimed a dramatic black-ball victory against Han Fang to win the title for the first time earlier today! 👏 The 43-year-old said: "I feel very excited. In those final few shots, I didn’t think too much—I just focused on potting the balls and managed to handle the pressure. Those last few shots was definitely the most memorable moment this week. I was quite nervous out there." "Changping has really developed a strong snooker identity and built a great platform for the sport. I think women’s snooker will continue to improve in standard. Dongguan overall has a very strong snooker atmosphere—many top players like Ding Junhui, Zhang Anda, and Xiao Guodong all came through here." #WomensSnooker

@InTheBalls147 She's talented, but very inconsistent. The best younger Chinese girl is Liu Ziling. But we will see who emerges in the next few years.

It seems Li Bi Han is definitely one to watch. She just won the third frame with a great break of 80 and fair play, Diana was tapping her leg throughout the break, and then applauded when it was over #WorldWomensSnookerChampionship

@ProSnookerBlog @WomensSnooker Quite remarkable tbh, to be on a world stage like this at that age. Should set them in good stead for the future. It's been really nice to see the tournament grow each year, with production improving all the time

@InTheBalls147 @WomensSnooker Yeah we have young players quite often, but still great to see. Narucha Phoemphul who is ranked sixth now and is 20 made her debut at the 2019 Worlds. Panchaya Channoi who is 18 and reigning world U21 champion made her debut aged 11 also at the 2019 event.

@WomensSnooker Hang on, so there is a 9 year old and a 12 year old player at the World Championships. That is crazy, but also what an incredible experience for them both. The future of women's snooker looks very bright
