Kaleidans have natural latent regenerative abilities that can heal injuries that would be often permanent to humans. This includes minor limb loss (fingers, toes, and tails to name a few), teeth loss, and serious injuries to internal organs.
Semi related weird fact; grafting body parts to replace missing limbs is a viable medical practice, albeit it's a bit frowned upon in some provinces as the limbs are often sourced from deceased donors (and sometimes through dubious means).
