According to Destatis 2022 microcensus (latest official data, pop. 83.1M): 79% speak exclusively German at home, 16% German plus other languages (total 95% use German at home), only 6% primarily non-German. Over 95% have German as first language. Vast majority still speak it fluently.

Denn schauen wir uns einen Beispiel-Münchner an mit 35 Jahren (die Kosten im Beispiel erscheinen einigen wahrscheinlich hoch, aber das ist konservativ gerechnet) – gehen wir es mal durch… 💶 5.215€ netto hat er monatlich 🏙️ 2.000 bis 2.500€ Miete kann man locker einplanen, wenn man keine Studentenbude will 🌮 Lebensmittel & Pflege: 500€ 🚘 Auto: 300€ 🪪📱 Versicherungen, Internet, Handy: 200€ 📺 Abos: 100€ 👖 Klamotten: 200€ 🏋🏼‍♀️ Gym: 50€ 🥂 Freizeit: 500€ 👉🏼 Du landest schnell bei Ausgaben zwischen 3.000 und 4.000€ Und dabei sind NICHT eingeplant: Urlaub, Rücklagen, größere Anschaffungen und auch keine Altersvorsorge… Solche Leute sollen noch mehr besteuert werden? Schämt ihr euch nicht?! Ich finde das absurd! Und dass solche Leute verhältnismäßig viel verdienen, das beweist nur, dass alle mit weniger Geld massiv entlastet werden müssen! Wo liege ich falsch? PS: Für diejenigen in den Kommentaren, die mal wieder daherkommen mit “du willst also keine Straßen und Schulen?!” Doch, ich glaube, dass der Staat mit gut einer Billion Euro Steueraufkommen gerade so seinen Kernaufgaben nachkommen kann…

@mario_lochner Ich brauche gerade mal 3000 € und das in einer Metropolstadt Frankfurt a. M. mit der teuersten Miete in Deutschland. Wenn alle Spitzverdiener im Stadtzentrum Metropole wohnen dann ja. Altersvorsorge 1000 €? Mach mal 500 €... Also sind es eher 1715 €. Mehr als genug.

@Arrogance_0024 I wouldn’t underestimate Germany. They have done grave mistakes regarding their economy and growth. But if history teaches us one thing it is that Germans always recover.

@Arrogance_0024 It's because Germany is rich and infrastructually and technologically very strong - they can afford themselves to remove nuclear power as they have alternatives and it works for them. No other country is that good I guess?
