Is the "create +" button redundant? Aren't all the functions covered by the buttons above it? I prefer a cleaner bottom bar that lets us tab between recent notes and notebooks quickly without accidental touch of the create button. More importantly, when do we get /slash commands and collapsible sections in Android! I'm using remote desktop to access Windows Evernote because the tablet version doesn't have these features yet.

[FEEDBACK NEEDED] 🎉 Iteration 2 of the new Evernote mobile home & navigation. After a lot of pondering, reading basically every comment on the web, and looking at a lot of data, we have a candidate for iteration 2. This is still likely not the final version, but it should be much better than iteration 1 (see quoted tweet) and closer to what we settle on. 4 main actions We understood that, broadly speaking, people mostly want to do 4 things when they use their mobile app: 1 - Quickly create something (note, task, audio, sketch, scan, etc) 2 - Browse/search their notes 3 - See their task list 4 - See their calendar Some further context • Of course there are countless other actions one could do on mobile, but based on our understanding, these are by far the most important ones. • Between the four, 1 and 2 are more important than 3 and 4. • Between 1 and 2, our understanding is that when one needs to create something, they need to do it QUICKLY (e.g. writing down a phone number, or trying to quickly jot down something that they're hearing while the speaker has already started talking). Instead, when one needs to browse/search, it's generally not as time sensitive of an action compared to 1. • Regarding 2, some people prefer to search, while some prefer to manually browse Notes, Notebooks and/or Shortcuts. ------ 💚 With that in mind, I'm happy to show you a much simplified navigation that prioritizes exactly these 4 actions. Let me know what you think, I hope you like the improvement over the previous version!

What are your thoughts on these takes on a new home page for Evernote mobile? Nothing set in stone, just curious to get feedback. (I'm alpha-testing them both, and while each has pros and cons, they are both like a thousand times faster than the current option! 😍)

We’ve done this before. But let’s do it again. Let’s fill Twitter with some beauty. Share a picture in the comments of a place on earth that touches you deeply. Let’s see where we will all go on a digital journey.

@DanRather @DanRather - thanks for this tweet! You hit the nail on the head. Short of some #GoodFriday tweets, Twitter proved to me again today how much of a downer it is. Then I hit your post and was brought back to my weekend with my son. Thank you! Go @Dbacks !

There's a lot of pain and sadness in the world. And Twitter can be an endless doomscroll. So here's a challenge. Share a picture of something that brings you joy – a place, a person, a pet, a hobby, a favorite book. The more diversity the better. How many pictures can we get?

One of the first funny sayings I remember from my dad was “death and taxes.” @joshreavis, thank you for adding the awesome Number 3! :-) Looking forward to #GoodFriday !

@HPSupport - I agree with Kendal - went to scan this morning and, out of the blue, you want me to use some new Cloud Service? #FAIL
Kendal Van Dyke@SQLDBA

My @hp printer app is telling me I have to create an HP Cloud Services account in order to scan - using a scanner on my own local network. What in the fresh absurd kind of hell is this that you're forcing users into HP??

@evernote - I hate to gripe - been a user for years believing and trusting in the “100 Year Company.” But new iOS app feeling like the years are at end. All kinds of issues. Just now tried to create new notebook, no response then a black screen??!!
