@UndercoverIndy I bought one of those Adam Jones Epiphones with the open-book headstock, it's been a great guitar. Nitro would've been cool, but I'm not really a fan of how silverburst ages. People should checkout the premium Epiphone offerings.

Epiphone is the only manufacturer other than Gibson who is licensed to produce the Les Paul clone with the open book headstock. Even Heritage knows better to produce them using the open book headstock design and they were formed by former engineers Jim Deurloo, Marv Lamb, JP Moats, and Bill Paige who worked for the old Kalamazoo plant. Gibson is very protective of their distinct headstock design and will go after anyone with gusto who violates their patented design except for Chipson who seems to get away with everything. Since they are produced in China by fly-by-night factories who are constantly changing locations and who's government could give less than a damn about US Intellectual Rights, enforcing them is extremely expensive and a logistical nightmare. Gibson relies on it's customers to choose authentic over counterfeit, but we all know how that works out don't we? 🤷‍♀️

@BriansElectro First one looks like Babicz saddles. I bought a Gibson bass that came with a Babicz bridge, and liked it so much I put one on my p-bass. Great bridges.
