freelancer tip: -don't trust people (especially women...) -ask for upfront payment EVERY TIME

@_ca_edits @sarachesches What if you scam the client? Will they be able to receive their money or work? Idk know how other works, but for me outsourcing over 15projects weekly, the freelancers gets their payment after their job is completed and reviewed

@dannyrio_ Getting humbled is key. It's also a hell of a flex - I want editor's who've been humbled, tossed, beaten up... and are ready for more.

Every time I talk to a beginner editor, and I mean EVERY TIME, they always have to deflect with their egos. Every editor claims to be better than they actually are. If you seek progress, start by humbling yourself first. I have 2 perfect examples of people who watched my 11-hour beginner's guide for editing. One of them said, "It wasn't for them because they're too advanced" (guy was looking for clients at $100 per vid). The other told me that he learned new techniques that helped him go from $0 to $2k in 60 days, and got his first client testimonial.
