Am I missing something here? Gattuso has managed 13 clubs in 13 years, has an average win rate of around 43%, yet somehow he’s managed AC Milan, Napoli, Valencia, Marseille, Italy and now Lazio. He’s won one trophy despite constantly getting huge jobs. How does a manager with such an average record keep landing elite clubs and national teams? Feels like failing upwards at this point.

Performances? Probably a 4/10. Based on the expectations? A 1/10. Balances out to a 2.5/10. I thought we were getting double digit goals and assists minimum. Instead, we’ve got a German Wes Hoolahan. He has absolutely no excuses next season.
