Hiding your name in ranked has never guaranteed you not be banned. If a high ranked player cares enough, they have lists filled with the names, banners, levels, and the heroes of OTPs. This new scanner thing doesn’t do anything except make a possible match based on the level and banner. There is nothing new here. It does not scrape data or let you look past a private profile like the old trackers. You can be against it, I think the monetization of it is scummy, but pls do not lie about how it works.
