@ControllableHab HabboNews ist by far the fastest and best informed habbo fansite tho. Its only fair for them to ask you to disable your adblock, especially if you can close the modal..

If a Habbo fansite throws an annoying ad popup at me, I don’t even bother. I just close the tab straight away.

@DavionHH we've seen time and time again (in literally every hotel) that being chosen as an official fansite is about connections and friendship. ranting about it on twitter wont change that. be greatful that you are in a position on .com where you do have these connections to be official

@DavionHH It is quite interesting that you are the one complaining about all of that, when you are the one that took over a fansite that was more than 1,5 years in maintenance on .com - so you have to remember that you also profited from these staff decisions on your own hotel.

Today I want to retweet this article and highlight another serious inconsistency in the Habbo TR fansite process. I want to make it clear that this is not about individuals, it is about the complete Habbo TR community, which deserves fairness and transparency. In this article, habbo.com.tr/community/arti…, it was initially stated that two fansites were being selected. After the selection process, which lasted four months and resulted in only one fansite becoming official, the wording was quietly changed to "1 to 2". (Proof: web.archive.org/web/2025052911…) And now, without any new public application process, two newly launched fansites were made official yesterday. If this process is meant to be transparent and fair, then it is difficult to understand how and why these decisions were made. One of the newly selected fansites appears to be unfinished and currently offers little added value for Habbo or its community. Another shows very strong similarities to existing designs (probably also stolen and they didn't ask the owner). Furthermore, one of the selected official fansite does not meet the requirements specified by the Habbo TR staff. Yet it still became official. 🤔 This deserves clarification before trust in the @habbo_tr community is further weakened. 💡 Important fact: On Habbo TR, fansites that became official were those closely aligned with and in continuous contact with staff. By contrast, at least one long-standing fansite intentionally remaining independent and community-driven was not made official. Not due to a lack of quality, activity, innovation, or technology, but because it chose not to build its legitimacy through proximity to staff. 🤡
