polls closed except for Wohl Center (open till 6) so far 4887 cast today, 49328 total in-person during the absentee period. one more chance to vote prior to Election Day. remember satellites close at 4 monday (we have to get them ready for election day)

Currently, numerous DC Metro police, along with Capitol Police and other agencies, are on high alert and in riot gear, wearing gas masks and holding up riot shields now deploying pepper spray as things are now turning violent, with thousands of Pro-Palestine protesters approaching the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC. The protesters are trying to make their way to the U.S. Capitol building, chanting slogans and waving flags. Objects have already been thrown at law enforcement as tensions rapidly rise and escalate with more activists and protesters marching. Police have set up barricades and are using loudspeakers to issue warnings this is still developing

The cost of owning let alone renting a home is just insane these days. In Toronto there is a 2bd / 2ba apartment that goes for over $1M CAD ($764k USD). In St. Louis, a home that went for $114k in 2014 is now $214k. My apartment 10 years ago was $800/month now it goes...
