Maybe I’m being naive - I don’t know enough about how this will work. But I am curious to see if creative incorporation of use of these AI essay writing tools as part of learning instead of a way of “cheating” might be possible and effective.

It’s been interesting seeing all the AI-generated writing and discussion about how this could be the end of uni assignments. Maybe. But could an alternative be an assignment where students use AI to generate an essay, and then write their own critique of that AI essay?
