The #InvestigativePsychology association is up and running. It has become seriously international with a conference planned in June in Spain. The 19th Conference of The International Academy of Investigative Psychology 12 -14 June 2024 Santiago de Compostela. Details online.

@jplsynnott Not update the 1977Psychology if Place. I’ve not finished that new version. This is a careful selection of 18 previously published papers tidied up with decent figures and brief introductions to sections. They chart development of Theory of Place .

I pushed @ProfDavidCanter for many years to do an update of the 1977 text of the same name. Great to see this updated version now in print (although with a hefty price tag). For context - the orginal text was the basis for some of the thinking on which I built my PhD research on.

This has just arrived but I’m rather embarrassed to note it’s £130 on Amazon. I don’t know how the publishers justify that ? Or what sort of exploitive business model they have . It’s an interesting book though…

There is an eBook version a lot cheaper and there should be a paperback eventually which should also not be crazily expensive.
