A big day today. My last day at UEA, after over 37 years. It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to be associated with such a fine Law School, and to work with such brilliant colleagues, and such bright, enthusiastic students. I shall miss it, and them, enormously.

@ProfGarethT @SWTWildFarms Hopefully they won’t have done all their hedges Gareth. Unfortunately we do also have to try and make a living alongside providing for nature, and these jobs get condensed into a small window when autumn sown crops need to be drilled later this month.

I wonder, will it be made crystal-clear to the well-meaning people who will be asked to sponsor these climate-unaware thrill-seekers that, of the £360 each one of them is required to raise, no less than £230 will be syphoned off to meet the costs of the activity? For shame, SWT.
