My cousin died presumptively positive for COVID-19 last night. She was 40, had 2 kids, and was extubated in the same hospital where my best friend is working with dangerously inadequate protective gear. Please stay home.

WHO Director General: "The pandemic is accelerating at an exponential rate. The first 100,000 cases took 67 days. The second 100,000 took 11 days, the third 100,000 took just 4 days, and the fourth 100,000 just 2 days."

"If you spread this three times without even knowing you're doing it, 10 cycles later you have been responsible potentially for 7,000 hospitalised cases and you will have blood on your hands. So, please heed the advice. Stay at home." Hugh Montgomery, #abc730 #covid19australia

Jeff, so cool! Today I saw a colleague's cat, several partners at the fridge and a child asking about the dog:) Apparently you can choose a calm background on zoom - yesterday a NZ based colleague had a beach and palm trees -but then he's got Jacinta at the helm! @ralphmaddison

Huge shout out to all the working mothers out there who are currently doing their job at home AND looking after children at the same time. May you never feel embarrassed by background noise.
