Friends and Neighbors, After two terms serving the Southwest Valley in the Utah State Senate, deciding whether to seek re-election was not an easy choice. It required a lot of prayer, personal reflection, and conversations with my family and community leaders. I'm deeply grateful for the strong encouragement and support from the mayors across the cities I represent—their confidence in our shared vision for Utah means the world to me. I'm also overwhelmed by the continued support from my legislative colleagues, we all work hard as a team and have been very effective for our districts (supporters listed below). That's why, on Friday, January 2, I will officially file to run for re-election. Together, we've accomplished so much, and there's still important work ahead to keep Utah strong, prosperous, and true to our values. Thank you for your trust. I humbly ask for your support once again. I’m officially running for the Utah State Senate! Serving Herriman, Riverton, & South Jordan in the House has been an honor. Now, I’m ready to take our fight for strong families, fiscal discipline, and responsible innovation to the Senate. Let’s keep Utah leading. Join us!

While we're talking re-election, another prominent House member, @jordanteuscher, faces a challenge from Scott Stephenson, executive director of Utah's Fraternal Order of Police. Teuscher authored the controversial public labor union collective bargaining ban. @abc4utah #utpol
