My deconstruction began ever since my freshman year at Biola when @ProfLisa lit a cigarette on day 1 in class as she went through the syllabus. Her point was that we had been so fixated on her smoking that we stopped paying attention to what she was saying - years of indoctrination in the church taught us all that smoking was bad and people who smoked were bad and therefore had nothing of value to say. That day changed my life and I’m forever grateful for it.

@PantsuitPolitic That phone call is still so shocking to me. It is just so unbelievable.

Schiff says 4 days after that call to Raffensperger was January 6, and it hits hard after hearing more of Trump ranting at Raffensperger on the call. It’s a pretty straight line from that hollering to his hollering to the crowd on Janaury 6.

He pulled up Twitter and saw someone saying she had committed treason with a noose gif. “And for lack of a better word, I lost it.”
