@Basedmagay26217 @MavrocksGirl Hey GG, JG was obviously a great man/person/role model. His most famous characters were "antiheroes"-not looking to be heroic, but can't sit by when someone needs him. There were/are no better characters, only those who try to emulate them.

@RobbieS1966 @MavrocksGirl @tiger26931 I always say he was that Last Decent Man.
All this talk about young men needing mentors and father figures, his life and work are a good place to start. His values are all right there.

I know that both Mad Men and Better Call Saul were based on James Garner!

These are the tactics Nazi Germany used, and they are still being used today, now by this administration, to the American people and the world. #DemsUnited

@NotAvgLiberal Remind me again how the liberals are the ones talking inciting violence.
And btw, ur all talking about bombing, but how does he get away with the final "Gas It" comment?
English

Last week, Fox News Host Brian Kilmeade said we needed to kill 700,000 Americans by involuntary lethal injection.
Today Fox News Host Jesse Watters said we need to “Bomb” the UN Building in New York City.
Yes, Fox News suggested bombing a building on U.S. soil.
A building full of world leaders.

@JohnHuff1964 @RpsAgainstTrump @Susan2752267025 @grok Your "reading ain't reading".
He said importers and consumers are paying.
Other countries may export less, may even take in less money, but that doesn't GIVE money to the US.
English

@RpsAgainstTrump @Susan2752267025 @grok If the tariffs aren’t working the way Trump planned how in the hell did we pull in $26B. And why are all these countries making these great trade agreements with Trump. Your math ain’t mathing.
English

Hey @grok, is Donald Trump lying when he says other countries pay the tariffs when it’s actually American importers who pay and pass the cost to consumers? Yes or no?
English

@CrushWokeAgenda @RpsAgainstTrump @grok Wait, who paid the 29B?
Pressure to lower prices doesn't raise money.
Tariffs are a tax on the poor, those people who need the lowest priced goods.

@timios @ColMoeDavis Yes, but your money is most likely in a fund and that's where they buy back from. And secondly, the whole tax breaks for the wealthiest is supposed to go to investments in growth. This is pointing out that they are not creating more jobs, but pocketing profits. No economic plus.

Absolutely not.
Garner was the classic anti-hero. As Rockford and Maverick he just wanted to get by, but situations arose where he had to do what was right. And his mix of toughness and humor can't be duplicated by Cruise.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 To me the interesting thing is that that is a sound used in movies in jungles anywhere in the world. Yet the people are is only found in Australia.

@historyrock_ I don't know how to find it, but Eric Clapton and Mark Knopfler at the concert for Nelson Mandella's 60th birthday (I think).

@NolanAThomas1 @ZacksJerryRig W/out nat. standards, there's no consistency. There's issues of interstate shipping, businesses working in multiple states...
A good example is the new marijuana industry with no consistent quality controls.
This is like saying why have an army when each state has its own guard.
English

@ZacksJerryRig Thats a great number but it was already falling at a dramatic rate post 1930s. I'd argue Unions did way more to help the US worker than any government bureaucrat has. Back to the point though, every state has a department of labor, why are they not equipped to do the same job?
English

why not just erase the lines on the road while we are at it?
