it 2 days later - turned up (130km round trip) to be told it was not there waiting for me - rang @johnlewishelp - terrible line and call dropped twice -the garbled info I managed to hear showed the poor rep was being bounced between departments from inside the system - told

So while @JohnLewisRetail is basking in plaudits over its new Xmas ad... I would be really happier if they kept their normal show on the road... Needed a new oven - bought in store 5 days ago - couldn't bring one home as no stock in stores anymore, assured could collect
