Manchester United haven't spent £100million sacking managers and head coaches, as has been said elsewhere. But the costs are growing and now top £20m in the past two seasons alone. An update of a piece originally published in October 2025:
Hearing FIFA's Council has decided to expand the women's World Cup to 48 teams (the UK hosts it in 2035). It was only expanded to 32 teams in 2023 - which is the perfect number for such a tournament - but bigger is better right.
