Dr Sam Whewall has been an excellent researcher @lborogeog. If anyone is looking to employ a sociologist or geographer of education, he's your man. We've done everything remotely during the pandemic, and while I might miss tea with the team, it's worked brilliantly. Great job Sam

Friday was my last day at @lborogeog after 21 months. It hasn't been a normal job (I've never been to the office - cheers, COVID) but I've really enjoyed my time there thanks to @ProfSLHolloway & @DrHPW. I'm only sorry I never got to meet other great dept colleagues in person.

Grim listening to Degrees of Abuse about Geography. All women make a choice about when to complain over sexual harassment because we know the risks. Nevertheless, it is still shocking to hear how these women were treated.
