@ChristianF79623 @HankMcPym Not really. Legos contract for one piece is with netflix. That's why the sets are based on the live action and not the anime. Netflix isn't Japanese
English

@HankMcPym Reason why Disney line Sucks is there contract.
what ever it says in the contract must be with certain Elements on it and more towards the actual cartoons.
JAPAN 🇯🇵 Laws are different, These companies needs to follow the Jp laws before it Gets okay!
English

One piece continues to get better power representation than Reed

@_AleX_BT Actually his name is Graham, his family name is Polo, that mean Marcos full name is Polo Marco
English

@Ravenclaw_dani @goroseitaken Except for a random mistranslation in an 1820s book that Bram Stoker read which had a footnote saying "Dracula means the devil" which he thought made sense for the name of his vampire
English

@Prof_Eon @goroseitaken Dracul and Draculea came from Draculest or Draculesat, that means Dragon born, or Children of Dragon, it came from The house of Draculesat, founded by Vlad II know as Vlad the dragon, and has no real connections with the devil.
English

Vocês querem saber uma coisa engraçada?
Dracule significa FILHO DO DIABO. E quem é o ÚNICO maluco com olhos IGUAIS aos de Imu?
DRACULE MIHAWK KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Português

@jacob_rodes @SendoGoat @goroseitaken And again, I'm not saying there's no link between imu and mihawk, there clearly is as you can see from the eyes, he'll Imu is the leader of the celestial DRAGONS so there's a link to Dracul there too. The link is just not that Mihawks name means son of the devil.
English

@jacob_rodes @SendoGoat @goroseitaken Well no then. Dracul was the dragon back then and can be the devil nowadays (the is important, it's the ul part, Dragon then and devil now without the "the" can be Drac. Also I'm saying it CAN be because the actual word for devil is diavol). What it can be is son of the devil.
English

@SendoGoat @goroseitaken At no point is there a notion of "son of" in Dracul though.
English

@Prof_Eon @goroseitaken I think Oda’s using the multiple meanings to his benefit. He does this deliberately throughout the series to be fair
English

@lord__smeg @goroseitaken Or you know... Imu is the original celestial dragon, Dracul means the dragon... See what I mean ?
English

@Prof_Eon @goroseitaken Still could be a connection given some biblical depictions of Satan refer to him as a dragon
English

@josiahjb271 @goroseitaken If you want, that doesn't mean he's right though. There's no notion of "Son of" in Dracul.
English

@Prof_Eon @goroseitaken to be pedantic, it’s not “later” demonization of draconic imagery. Dragons have always been symbols of the devil in Christianity. The serpent in Genesis, the red dragon in Revelation. And of course later stories like Saint George the Dragonslayer.
English

@SendoGoat @goroseitaken Dracul means the dragon. With time it has taken the secondary meaning of the devil. There's no notion of son of in there though. That'd be either Dracula if you take it medieval or Draculea if you take the modern construction. But not Dracul in any capacity
English

@Prof_Eon @goroseitaken In Romanian, Dracul is Son of the Devil
Point still stands
English

@itssPrecept What I was arguing against in the tweet you QRTd was two things, one a mix up between Vlad II Dracul and Vlad III Dracula and two the idea that Dracule means son of the devil. Both these points would still hold if I were to be wrong in something I argued as a reply to you.
English

@itssPrecept But even if you take the more modern meaning of Drac meaning demon, Dracul doesn't mean "son of the demon", you could argue for Dracula meaning that even though it didn't at the time, but really it should be Draculea, but at no point would it be Dracul or Dracule.
English

The “dragon” in regard to Dracula (the novel) is a reference to the devil. In the Bible they also refer to Satan or other agents of evil and chaos as “the dragon” in the old/New Testament as a metaphor. It’s why the Order of the Dragons symbol is a cross rebuking a dragon

Prof. Eon ∞@Prof_Eon
@goroseitaken Dracule means the dragon. Dracula means the son of the dragon. The only link between that and demons is the fact that Bram Stoker based himself on a wrong traduction of Dracula which said it meant the devil to assign the name to his vampire in his eponymous novel.
English
