“Intellectual” trends on indirectly supporting the CJP protests. 1/ “The government should take accountability for NEET.” Seriously - define accountability. The Union Minister admitted on national media that mistakes happened. The exam was conducted again. Results came. Students are moving forward. What exactly is left? If your definition of accountability is asking the political opponent to resign - that’s not accountability. It’s mindless opposition. 2/ “The government should not be silent.” The government was never silent. That’s why the re-exam happened. That’s why results came. That’s why a Union Minister sat across from the protestors and gave them a chair at the table. After all of that - why are the protests still going? What exactly is the remaining demand? And in which legitimate student protest do demonstrators thrash Delhi Police? This is not about NEET anymore. It never was. This is political envy, and youth used as pawns to create disturbances.

Now, according to this woman, North India is better than Tamil Nadu. Few months ago, Tamil Nadu is better than North India. Division is their only tactic. Btw where is Rahul Gandhi?

How misinformed our Indian Youth are?

One could easily say these fishermen are regular drinkers - not alcoholics. Look at their faces. That’s exhaustion, not addiction. They drink after a hard day at sea. I don’t support it. What did DMK offer? - 2 seats in 2009 : same : 2 seats in 2024 - Favoured DMDK and gave double digit seats but VCK denied abruptly. - No respect within the alliance. All their political ideology is just opposing BJP. And that’s why DMK+ lost. They are not in the mood to learn. And thiruma is one such politician - whom Vijay should keep away from.

Society made a bargain with middle class boys that if only they put their head down, study, stay out of trouble, earn a honest living, fulfil their responsibilities in their youth, eventually their life settlement will be taken care of by the adults. Many boys accepted this bargain. And then suddenly when they come of marriageable age, society started looking at a balance sheet instead of a person. Not just any balance sheet, society now wants only a guy with overflowing assets and zero liabilities from a guy in mid 20s which is impractical. Cannot recall any single generation before this where the groom was evaluated as a finished product rather than a promising WIP. The very beauty of marriage lies in growing up the economic and social ladder together as a team with mutual trust and responsibility. Given how only a less % of girls are taking the arranged marriage route nowadays, the market is being extremely Brutal for the middle class boys. Please be kind to them. If you are the parents of a girl, gentle request to look for character and potential of the boy instead of current economic status. Please evaluate the boy as a valuable startup with future profit potential, not a NIFTY50 company. Many parents simply filter out prospects based on a high LPA they have in mind. Agreed that perhaps the society was unkind to women of previous generations, but please lets not overcorrect and crush the hopes of a generation of young boys for mistakes they did not commit. And yes - he may be our ancestor too. We worship the Neem Tree, Snakes, the Sun, the Cow, much more and our ancestors too. There is nothing wrong in that. Because we are universal. But never shrink a civilisation’s God into the borders of a state drawn seventy years ago. Murugan is a Hindu God and Hinduism is universal.

Born in Bharat. Forged in Bharat. Worshipped in Bharat. That’s the right way to say.

Corruption. The “Dravidian Model” of politics has convinced Tamil Nadu that corruption is not an issue worth fighting over. Anyone who has spent time within TN politics knows the saying - “ADMK திருடுவாங்க, ஆனா எதோ ஒன்னு செஞ்சுர்வாங்க.. DMK ரொம்ப மோசம்..” This normalisation has quietly degraded the public’s belief in politics itself. What makes DMK distinct is not just that it is corrupt - they are unapologetic about it. Over decades, DMK convinced its supporters, that corruption is simply not a legitimate issue to raise. That’s why when corruption is brought up, not one of the DMK sympathiser here says - “No, it didn’t happen.” Instead we are asked: 1/ “Do you have proof?” 2/ “Why didn’t you complain then?” 3/ “Why were you quiet for so long?” The proofs were always there. We simply stopped seeing them - because we had been normalised into looking away for far too long. It is too early to say @TVKVijayHQ has tackled corruption. But the early signs of a genuinely cleaner governance are strong. And after decades of being told corruption is inevitable, having a conversation itself is a win.
