I’ve been busy back-testing the engine. For National Hunt, it’s in a very good place with a baseline of 30%+ ROI over 30,000 real bets, and no bias or data leakage issues. It was profitable for 5/5 years. The problem is, the flat is currently dragging it down. I am not surprised — the flat is more predictable and the market far more efficient. So it’s about finding a way to use that as an advantage and/or building a different engine for it. I am confident it can be done. Positive ROI still today, mostly ascending as the threshold increases.
