@TradeDudeNYC @WhaleInsider I steer away from the pure politics element in general.
The interest is more so in the market impact.
That said, it remains to be seen. There's been a lot of mixed and poor messaging about this conflict such that markets are finally saying "risk off until we see something"
English

@WhaleInsider @ProfitsTaken Because he knows he has nothing chance in 2028, and so the pull out from the administration is starting, I have a feeling that Rubio will take his place and will run in 2028

@nikitabier Perhaps if you have notifications on for an account - their posts should always make it into your "following" feed and have a high chance of being in the "for you".

@DAVIDBABAYAN13 It depends on how far we drive down. The next 5-10 sessions are critical. More so due to the time that passes with regards to the confict.
So if we can avoid a 3rd WW, then deal with a bit of turbulence fall out. I think the rally will be and that's still a base case🤌
English

@ProfitsTaken Aged great :) What we think Peter? Is the forthcoming bounce going to make Tariff rebound look like a stroll in the park? 🤪
English

How did this age? Didn't take long👇

I thought that was a report on Insider Access at first glance. Geeze.
You're not wrong. Same thing happened during previous conflicts, COVID, tariffs so on and so forth.
The recent oil move should be investigated. I'm sure if I did that , I'd be turned upside down. Or any normal person for that matter.
All too common unfortunately.

War messaging is scripted theater. Insiders get advanced intel on escalations, ceasefires, or “surprises” before public release. They front-run the markets, take advantage, and pocket billions while normies react late.
Peter Tarr@ProfitsTaken
Its not just the war causing erratic price action in $SPX & markets. Its the messaging. Not happening Happening Happened Its over Not over Might be over Its definitely ON Escalating Peace talks No oil for you Just kidding WW3! Or peace? Either way. Be patient, take advantage.

I know Dallas area pretty well (Frisco best).
I lived in HTX in the heights and Woodlands area - so I know those. Also lived in Austin for about 7-8 years.
If you're in Richmond and looking at maybe Houston area, lmk what you like.
Big on coffee shops since its quick and easy for the workday but I would get out to a lot of restaurants as well.
Few coffee spots
Frisco - La Finca, Renew Bakery. If takeout, Bitty & Beaus great cause and good coffee / breakfast.
Woodlands - Bluedoor is the clear #1.
Heights - Simplii Coffee or Wild
Montrose / Downtown - TenFold downtown, Duo Coffee (2 locations), Blacksmith
Austin is an entire list of its own.
English

@ProfitsTaken That’s me! Nice… always down to try new places. Any recommendations from there? It’s not too far away.
English

@CreamMoneyTeam Is my memory correct that you're in Richmond?
If so, Wah coffee on Harlem road.
Saw it pop up a few times on social saying Richmond. You came to mind.
Nowhere near me but I'd check it out if it was 🤝
English

@ProfitsTaken Yes I meant the rumors of a merger.
Have a great weekend PT!
English

@acethebulllly Big fan of cathedral ceilings (vaulted, high ceilings etc) 👌
English

Are you referencing the rumored merger between the two?
I think it would be a positive. If you listen to what Elon Musk says and take him at his word - he's playing an all or nothing game.
He wants everything under one banner eventually. X an app for everything and SpaceX to blend with Tesla, AI, Neuralink etc.
It's all tied together.
Optimus is a robot for humans
Neuralink is the bridge between humanity and robotics.
SpaceX facilitates data centers for AI which are used on X and Telsla - so on and so forth.
He wants the singularity.
English

@ProfitsTaken Definitely long. Capital has been locked up for a while because I’m waiting for the bigger reward. How do you see this Tesla / Space X news playing out with regards to future stock price?
English

@ReluctantSteve2 🤝 last night's briefing laid out a good road map in that regard - if you're working and wanting a general blueprint for markets right now.
Good to use alerts. Use them generously.
English

@ProfitsTaken Eh. I'm pretty busy at work this week. I have my eye on two particular tickers, you might have an idea what they are. Once they move, I'll know that it's not noise. Have an alert set up and dry powder ready. Again, appreciate all you do.

Tesla is a big mover in general.
One consideration if you're long is taxes. So you can be up 26% then have to pay 25% of your gains or whatever your marginal rate.
It's down to timelines. Are you long Tesla? Believer in the future say 3-5 years (even if trading on 1-2 time-frames).
Can you afford to keep capital locked up that long? Always a consideration when "long".
If so, you can ride it out. Add on strategic dips (company doing fine but price down).
If not then you're swinging. In a swing, let your stops make decisions. Up 26% adjust your stops up for at least some size. Then keep trailing.
The problem is people hate when things are ugly. So they sell or stop adding. But love when things are going well. So they add at the top.
English

@ProfitsTaken What’s hard for me is knowing when to sell, especially when I’m in a long play. Example Tesla… I’ve been up a lot, waiting to get to our price target, but more often, it’s falls again while waiting for the big catalyst. I wonder should I’ve taken some profit & buy back on dips?
