Today is WORLD AIDS DAY. I join my voice with the entire world to advocate for a HIV Free World. The HIV figures as posted by UNICEF shows there's still a lot of work to be done. We need to advocate for Early testing and encourage safe sexual practices. Our Prevention of Mother to child transmission needs to be strengthened. No child should be born with HIV. The stigmatization around HIV and AIDS needs to stop people need to stop discriminating and know there is help and medication available. I call on the media, government and other stakeholders to put HIV prevention and access to care on the Frontline of a hailing infectious disease. We can have a HIV Free world. It is on all of us to create a safe environment Happy #WorldAIDSDay #AIDSFreeGeneration

It's alarming the number of young people I see with heart diseases at a young age. I'd advice young people to occasionally try to visit their Doctors for routine checkups. There are many heart diseases that can be picked at any earlier stage. No one deserves to die from an undiagnosed Heart disease.

Happy Independence Day Nigeria. Happy 64th Day Nigeria. Today I reflect and celebrate a Giant amongst all Nations. It has been moments of growth, challenges, learning and reinventing for Nigeria. Today I reflect on the state of the Health sector in Nigeria and see how Heartbreaking it is. How accessing quality Healthcare is still a challenge in big 2024. As a USA trained International Cardiologist, I recall hearing the loss of a loved one who was so and still dear to my heart, my mother. Till date the memories still haunt me. And that was what birthed Tristate Healthcare System @TristateHs . A System that was designed and built to deliver Top notch Healthcare for every Nigerian. A System where every Nigerian has access to a quality Healthcare. Over the years Tristate has been a household name synonymous with heart from out patient clinics, outreaches heart catheterization, stent placement and open heart surgeries.we brought new innovation, technology and pioneer new procedures. Our goal was to revert medical tourism. Nigerians churns out some of the best medical Doctors globally, so why have we then become the greatest exporter of medical professionals to other country? Our goal at Tristate is to bring quality and standard Healthcare to the country. A System where medical tourism is reversed but Nigeria being a county that's visited We solidified this by making a foray into Health education, we believed that if we are going to deliver standard Healthcare we have to invest in teaching and producing equipped personnel. This is what birthed the Hillside University and Tristate College of Health and Allied Medical sciences which hold twelve schools within the college. It is an innovative approach where our medical school graduates will proceed to postgraduate training in collaboration with National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria and West African College of Surgeon. Our goal and prayers is that Nigeria will not need to depend on expatriates except our own Nigerian doctors in the Diaspora that we hope to lure back into our motherland Today again i reflect on the ups and down during this independence Day. It can only get better. If we want Nigeria to move forward, all of us must work together. The future of Nigeria is in our hands. Let us all strive to build a Better Nigeria. Long live Nigeria. Happy Independence Day once again. God bless NIGERIA

Today is the World Heart Day. I join my voice with the millions of voices globally to say " The Heart is an Essential part of the Body". The Heart is a work engine of the body and needs to be cared for. About 17.9 million people die every year from Cardiovascular complications. If we raise more awareness about Heart's health, we will be able to save more lives. Some helpful tips to help: -Know your figures ( Blood pressure, Blood sugar, Blood fat) - Eat Healthy. - Exercise - Stop alcohol and smoking - Schedule routine visits with your Cardiologist. - Be compliant with your medications At Tristate @TristateHs, we are dedicated to ensuring your Heart is well catered for. Your Heart is our Workplace Once again Happy World Heart Day. ##WorldHeartDay2024

Why don’t we promote male family planning as much as female Family planning? Contrary to what you may have heard and known, Vasectomy does not affect sexual function or libido. You can still ejaculate normally only that the semen(cum) does not contain sperm that causes pregnancy. Vasectomy involves cutting and tying the tubes that carry sperm into the semen(ejaculate) Tubectomy involves cutting and tying the fallopian tubes to prevent eggs from Ovaries to the womb to get fertilized. Vasectomy is very minor procedure that takes 20 - 30mins and less invasive than tubectomy. Vasectomy has a quicker and less painful and recovery period. Vasectomy has fewer and less severe risks than tubectomy. So i ask again, why don't we promote male family planning as Much as we promote female family planning? Ehn cumrade? Should i increase my MIC or i should just getat?

It was a great day today at Tristate. Our team had 2 Heart surgery cases. A 46 year old who had a ByPass and an 18 months old born with a Congenital heart defect that required an Open Heart surgery. The 46 year old took 2 hours without a Heart Lung Machine. The Baby's surgery also took 2 hours Bravo to the THS Team.
