Train to London. 3 trains later everyone has to get off at B’ham and no trains north or south. Utter chaos. What a complete shambles our country has become. Nothing works, nothing is punctual etc it’s like a 3rd world country with an elite cabal skimming off the profits 😡😡😡

The history of Christ Church goes back to 1839, when the first church was erected at a cost of £2,500. Fenton then contained only a few thousand residents, but as the town grew the parish spread, the mission-church of St. Michael's being erected in 1875 and St. Matthew's in 1882.

Burnham Street: resident estimates 15-20 lorries a day. Street seems to be sinking with the weight of onslaught. Mucky brown river of silt runs from the closed up entrance of Potteries Demolition down onto King Street, then along till it disappears into a drain @SoTCityCouncil
