Women smallholder farmers feed the world, but receive less than 1% of climate finance. That’s not just a funding gap, it’s a $1 trillion missed opportunity. @landcoalition knows that when given #landrights, women farmers deliver results.  In South Africa, Mokgadi Modiba defied systemic barriers to become a farmer and community leader. Purchasing land and growing organic food, she challenged white-dominated land ownership in the country and poor nutrition. With better access to resources, she was able to nourish her community, build economic independence, and help shape South Africa’s farming future.
