@mattdellok @TalktoARYZE I grew up swimming in outdoor pools all summer too... every neighbourhood seemed to have one and the moms sent the kids to the pool for the day all the summer! The swim was free! Loved this! Had to take my kids to Vancouver to give them the outdoor swimming experience!#kitspool

@TalktoARYZE My hometown (Oliver, BC) had only 5000 people, and we had an incredible outdoor pool. All the local teens would lifeguard there. Very low cost and simple operation. It's so nice to be outside in the summer time!

Vancouver has an outdoor pool - why doesn't Victoria? This is a relatively low-cost piece of infrastructure. (simple indoor washrooms/changeroom are the only building needed) #yyj

@mattdellok Yes, why not indeed? The only outdoor pool was at McKinnon gym and that has been closed for many, many years...why haven't the new owners re-opened it? ...when I moved here ages ago I called the City of Victoria for the list of outdoor pools..none-we have the ocean- she said...🤔
