Get to know the updated #FlyingWILD guide! Targeted for a 5-8 grade audience (though adaptable) Flying WILD: Birds Across the Curriculum offers hands-on classroom & outdoor field investigation experiences connecting bird biology, conservation, & natural history.

Can fire be good for wildlife? In #ProjectWILD's activity "Fire Ecologies," students conduct a field investigation to compare burned and unburned areas by identifying and measuring vegetation and looking for signs of wildlife.

Why is water important? In #GrowingUpWILD's "Aqua Charades" children explore the importance of water for people, animals and plants. Your little ones will enjoy testing items to float like a boat in the 'Take Me Outside!' section, singing songs like "We All Use Water," & more!

Looking for some avian arts and crafts to do with your class? Try bark paintings, origami, making murals, and even cake decorating! The #FlyingWILD activity "Avian Art" has students discover connections between birds, art, and culture.
