RADM De Possesse is the @French_CSG commander. He confirmed - France's purely defensive posture - The CSG sailed 3600 NM in 6 days following the retasking order - Spanish AOR Cantabria was praised for its key role in resupplying the CSG - No interaction or communication with the 2 USN CSGs (including Ford) - Units of the French CSG will not participate in mission Aspides in the Red Sea Lastly he praised the French sailors under his command for their dedication, proffesionalism and calmness

U.S. Central Command is aware of the loss of a U.S. KC-135 refueling aircraft. The incident occurred in friendly airspace during Operation Epic Fury, and rescue efforts are ongoing. Two aircraft were involved in the incident. One of the aircraft went down in western Iraq, and the second landed safely. This was not due to hostile fire or friendly fire.
