I have a question about that camera issue. I recall the video quite well: he went to inspect the place, saw a cam recorder in the group, picked it up, and said it would add to the exhibits collected. That was all. Everything else that went sideways was from social media. Fashola nor anyone from his side ever claimed they eventually found anything on the camera; in fact, they never mentioned it again. I stand to be corrected. My question is, in retrospect, what exactly was so controversial about this to the point that it might cast aspersions on his personality, especially since nothing was ever claimed to be found on the camera?

I really really like fashola ❤️ He is one intelligent politician. However, I haven’t moved past that 2020 “camera finding” skit he joined them to do 😭💔 How do you bring yourself so low to be used in that manner?

Coming back to this tweet and it’s funny cos it cements my belief that the average IGBO MAN lacks tact and that’s why Nigerians outside Nigeria experience issues in areas they’re highly populated. Because why is someone like you tweeting something like this?

In 2003, Peter Obi contested for governor and secured only about 34% of the votes. Roughly two-thirds of voters chose someone else. In 2010, during his re-election bid, he won with about 35% of the votes. Again, the majority of voters did not vote for him. Then came 2023. he suddenly received overwhelming support across much of the South-East, with some states delivering close to 90% of their votes to him.🤣🤣🤣 When a candidate who previously struggled to command majority support in his own state suddenly becomes the near-unanimous choice of an entire region, it is fair to examine what changed. The “it’s our turn” rhetoric, the regional mobilization, and the voting patterns were too obviously point to tribalism at work. Even the blind could see the ethnic undertones that shaped much of the 2023 campaign. Own it, we won’t beat you.

I have noticed a pattern from Peter Obi’s supporters, particularly his people. The moment you criticize Peter Obi or say he is not your preferred presidential candidate, they instantly start insulting, cursing, and wishing you all kinds of evils. This is a clear message to all Peter Obi’s mobs: PETER OBI is a very weak, divisive, manipulative, and incompetent politician who has nothing significant to offer Nigeria. He has never projected anything positive about Nigeria but is always the first to spread negativity. He aligns more with the Biafran dream than the Nigerian dream because he has openly supported and defended the atrocities of IPOB, a prescribed terrorist organization. All he has ever done is condemn and criticize the government without giving a clear explanation of how he intends to solve the problems if given the opportunity. This kind of character should never be allowed to rule Nigeria.

I'm not holding Mr. Melaye's brief. I am also not a fan, but this tweet isn't a way to talk about someone who "gave you an opportunity to film in his house", either directly or indirectly. You can express your reservation among friends and a few people in private, but doing this here to someone who let you film in his house is not graceful.
Uche is a girl@UcheMaryOkoli

I had the opportunity to film in Dino Melaye's house in 2020. Dino is proof that you can own the flashiest cars and live in the most beautiful mansion, yet still be poor. True poverty is not merely the lack of material possessions. It goes much deeper than that. A person can have everything money can buy and still be impoverished in character, values, purpose, or peace of mind.
