@lecomtephyn @Sir_osas That’s true bcus d Enogie shud hold more power dan d Okaighele. That’s y I said dey shud b checked n put under control but banning it wud bring more anarchy in our villages dan it is now. Dey still play a role in our communities whether we like it or not. That’s my opinion.

@lecomtephyn @Sir_osas I’m not saying most of dem are not guilty of different crimes but dey help protect our borders n villages to some extent. D concept of Okaighele is still needed in our villages but shud b monitored closely n anyone found guilty should be held accountable not banning d system.

@lecomtephyn @Sir_osas They’re suppose to be the intermediary between the youth and the elders in villages who then relates their needs to the appropriate authorities. But some not all lately have been dubious with their activities, they also have a traditional role in our villages.
