Imagine being a non league football club hosting World Cup games for their fans and local community and the next morning coming in to see you've been broken in to! Well that is what has sadly happened to @SportingFC As the statement reads, the clubhouse and Hangry Moose food kiosk was broken into. Thankfully, the damage wasn't severe and no money was stolen as they are cashless but nevertheless, it once again shows what these clubs have to deal with. Let's hope the club and police get to the bottom of the incident. Unfortunately we seem to be seeing more and more of these stories with non league football being a target, whether it be the clubhouses or damage to pitches, making the clubs jobs all that harder. As per usual, the media are trying to cause a sh*tstorm a couple of days before England's World Cup semi-final against Argentina. It really is getting tedious and boring! 😴 ITV's Gabriel Clarke threw a grenade into Jude Bellingham's lap and got the response he was looking for. We all know modern-day journalism is about clickbait. After Tuchel put the interviewer in his place about questioning mentality, Clarke then decided to ragebait Jude. What a load of absolute codswallop… @gabrielclarke05 did his job, superbly well. He asked the right questions, and got very newsworthy answers. It’s not his fault that Tuchel decided to go nuclear (which I loved) and then of course he had to ask Bellingham about it.

Former Chelsea owner Ken Bates has passed away aged 94. Ken was was the chairman at the Blues for over 20 years. After selling the club to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich he went on to buy a 50% stake in Leeds United. He had also been chairman of Oldham for five years in the 1960s and then co-owned Wigan before buying Chelsea for £1 in 1982, he also famously installied electric fences at Stamford Bridge for a short time to prevent pitch invasions in the mid 80s. A fascinating Europa League qualifying game tonight between European regulars Qarabag 🇦🇿 and Icelandic 2nd division side Vestri 🇮🇸 who won the domestic cup. Qarabag who are usualy in some form of European competition each season, this year are only in the Europa League after failing to win their league last season. Last year, they was in the Champions league and reached the knockout stages for the first time ever. They lost to Newcastle at this stage. As for Vestri, they have qualified for European football for the first time ever after winning the domestic Icelandic Cup which was a big surprise. They was then relegated from the Icelandic Premier league so head in to European football as a 2nd division side. Qarabag will be expecting to win this game and win well but Vestri may have something to say about that.
