After 48 hours from inoculation, the shoot was anlyzed by means of contocal microscopy which revelead the presence of green fluorescence puncta corresponding to fluorescent endophytes (Fig. B and C).

Arabidopsis seedlings, expressing the genetically encoded Ca2+ indicator (R-GECO1, red), were grown in plates on agar medium. Droplets of a suspension cultures of an endophyte expressing GFP were applied to the root tip of 7-day-old Arabidopsis seedlings (green) (Fig. A)👇

New experiment for PROSIT! Vine plants, inoculated with consortia of endophytes are now at the LANDLAB, where they will be subjected to water stress conditions. The aim is to measure the response of inoculated plants to drought and the impact of endophytes on the plants.

Second project meeting on 14.05.2024, to take stock of technical progress and define next steps. The first 5 months of 2024 are characterised by experiments to test the potential of microorganisms and the response of plants. First results are expected in early summer.
