People comparing the Artemis II re‑entry to Columbia are telling on themselves. Columbia wasn’t lost because “re‑entry is scary.” It was lost because a hole was punched through the wing on ascent and the crew had no way to inspect or repair it. Since then? Every crewed spacecraft on Earth has safely re‑entered. Soyuz, Shenzhou, Crew Dragon, even the final Shuttle flight. Dozens and dozens of flawless returns. Well over eighty in total. Artemis II is flying a capsule designed from day one to survive lunar re‑entry with modern heat shield materials, full inspection capability, and abort modes Columbia never had. This isn’t 2003. Stop fear‑baiting people who don’t know the history.

@SamdGreat01 Heaven was and is never science Again, only intelligent life forms can send signals because you'd have to know the wavelength of the light spectrum before you can send a signal across the galaxy or universe

Interesting stuffs There are actually researches to find extra terrestrial life going on. We're looking to get signals which can imply intelligence That opens more questions, scientific and philosophical How do you identify what signals indicate higher intelligence? Do we have examples of such "signals" around us, do we attribute them to higher intelligence? What about the detectors for the signals? Many more "Where heaven is" does not need a PhD Physics
Peter Ajayi@devpetero

@SamdGreat01 PhD Physics should at least have answer to where heaven is ? or if aliens exist

@FelixKwakyeOfo1 Your ignorance is just like those handling the ssocial media of the president. The flag was during her ISS days in 2019. Ghana flag never went around the moon. Build your own space industry and do that. We can if we stop stealing

From the Lecture Halls of Legon to the Moon: Celebrating Christina Koch I join the University of Ghana and the entire nation in celebrating NASA Astronaut Christina Koch on her historic membership of the Artemis II mission. It is a point of immense pride to learn that Christina, the only woman on this pioneering lunar mission, was once an exchange student at our very own University of Ghana during the 1999/2000 academic year. Her time at Legon was not just a passing visit; she truly immersed herself in our culture and heritage. By studying the History of Ghana, the History of Africa, Rural Sociology, Music, and even Twi for Beginners, she built a foundation of global citizenship right here in Accra. Her gesture of hoisting the Ghanaian flag in outer space was a deeply touching moment for every Ghanaian. It is a testament to the fact that no matter how far one travels, even into the vastness of space, the friendships made and the lessons learned stay with you. Christina’s journey from the classrooms of the University of Ghana to the frontiers of space exploration serves as a powerful inspiration to every young Ghanaian. It reminds us that our educational institutions continue to produce and shape global leaders who break barriers and reach for the stars. On behalf of a proud nation, I wish Christina Koch and the entire Artemis II crew godspeed on your return journey to earth. May your success continue to inspire generations across Ghana, Africa, and the world to believe that there's no height that is insurmountable. Congratulations, Christina. Ghana is proud of you!

🇺🇸 American Astronaut, CHRISTINA KOCH , one of the astronauts who just completed a historic mission around the Moon went along with 🇬🇭 Ghana's flag inside the crew spacecraft in outer space. She studied Astrophysics on an Exchange Program at the University of Ghana 🇬🇭 in 1999.

@BongoIdeas @JDMahama @fawogyimiiko_ You've been an ignorant guy since day 1. Anyone who works at NASA is an American. They contributed as Americans not Ghanaians. Ghana contributed nothing as a country. Instead of us to reason and sit up, we are here taking glory for doing nothing. Shameful !

@JDMahama @fawogyimiiko_ While we acknowledge Christina Koch due to her ties to UG, we gotta commend top Ghanaians at NASA who played critical roles: Ashitey Trebi-Ollennu Isaiah M. Blankson Richard Damoah Ave K. P. Kludze Jr. Benjamin Bonsu Ernest Matey Joseph Quansah They made Artemis II possible!

@Mustapha13__ @JDMahama Anyone who works at NASA is an American. They were never a product of Ghana's deeds. I know so many people who also contributed. Shameful you refuse to think because of Politics. Ghana first. Our leaders must sit up and make the country better
