Their project dubbed “HOME” is in the Identity Thematic area under the Visual Artistry Segment. The book showcases the life of a Kenyan millennial through photography i.e. From birth through to adulthood by exploring shared objects & cultural practices within Kenyan homes.

Creative Challenge Projects #2. Dogme Imagery productions is a Kenya based documentary company. Their focus is on storytelling through photography & videography using various angles or sub-topics via people & objects to bring out identity issues surrounding the subject.

Millennials are also the generation born & partly raised during the beginning years of the Nyayo era, a regime with questionable governance that succeeded a preceding regime with equally sinister governance. Read the whole book here: metta.co/dogmeimagery/ #CreativeChallenge

The project was also inspired by the fact that Millenials are the generation who grew up in the beginning times of the SAPs( structural adjustment programs) evoked by the IMF( International Monetary Fund) that had tremendous negative effect on Kenya’s economic standing.

The HOME project by Dogme Imagery targets Kenyans born in the years 1980-1998. Its inception was triggered by constant conversations held with people born in the millennial era on what exactly it means to be Kenyan. #CreativeChallenge

The challenge allocated a total of KES. 625,000 to the 5 participants for their selected creative projects in line with a creative segment under a specific thematic area. Stay tuned as we highlight the amazing work of each participant! 😀

As we come to the end of this year there's a lot to look back, appreciate and learn from. From the Prosperous Coach family, we would like to thank and appreciate everyone one of you who has been part of our journey this year. You are the reason why we are who we are today.

2020 has been THAT year for many of us. A year that was tough and pushed a lot of us to our limits. In as much as the year had a lot of adversities it would be unfair not to acknowledge the great things that took place as well.
