🌟 Inspiring local young people 🌟
North Middlesex University Hospital and community services (North Mid) welcomed 14–17 year olds from Enfield and Haringey to a careers event, aimed at inspiring the next generation of NHS professionals and opening up opportunities for young people across the boroughs.
Students took part in hands-on workshops, heard inspiring talks and celebrated their achievements at a certificate ceremony with North Mid's chief executive Dr Nnenna Osuji and director of people Bernadette Thompson.
Dr Osuji said: “The day was a reminder of how closely we are connected to our local community. We hope the event has sparked inspiration and ambition in the students to consider a future career in the NHS.” 💙
